Amazing pies with a quaint atmosphere for dining inside or out on the porch. I wish it was open later so I could go after dinner for dessert. I got a slice of the thin mint pie and it was amazing!! Oreo crust and so creamy. Plus a super friendly person working the counter who helped me decide what to try.
Sabrina and the team at the pie hole are wonderful people and the pies are amazing.
We ordered 4 pies from here for Pi day yesterday for work, and we're blown away by the quality. The apple pie is one of the best I've ever had. I never knew of this place before, but now I'll definitely be ordering on special occasions. They are a bit pricey but they're absolutely worth the money.
The sweet pies are obviously delicious but the savory chicken pot pie was TO DIE FOR!! My husband and I ate an entire pie (with salad on the side) in 2 nights. I was dreaming about it all day!! So easy to heat up. Even leftovers were as scrumptious as the first night! Crust was heavenly and the big chunks of chicken and veggies made me feel as though I had made it myself. You must try it!!!!
Eat here. You will say thank you. Best pie !
Amazing cream pies.
Greatest Pie Shop In The World!A++
i had the Apple Pie from the Pie Hole and by far the best pie I have ever had! Highly recommend! Can hardly wait to get another one!
I highly recommend this place! The Apple Pie was amazing, but the Derby was definitely my favorite!
My mother makes the best pies so I'm really picky. This is the only place I've ever eaten a pie at that I was happy. I was more than happy I was delighted. My wife now gets pies for me on special occasions. Alas the place is only open during inconvenient hours but I like the fact that they seem to value their staff enough not to drive them into the ground. Writing this review made me crave a pie. Time to remind my wife that Father's Day is coming.
I called at around 11 am, and ask to see if they had pecan chess pie, and was informed that they didn't. I left it at that. About 20 mins later, I received a phone call, and was told that I had spike her curiosity and that she look up, and found a recipe. Even on short notice she made the pie that day. The place is very nice, it made feel like i was at home. Worth every penny for the pie, It was sooooo goooood!!! I will be coming back for all my pie needs, and wants.
The pie is amazing but they always seem to be out of pies by the time I get there. They also Don't have the Lemon Blueberry pie the whole year. The Lemon Blueberry is the best pie I have ever tasted and I want to eat it year-round.
Enjoyed the piece of pie I had! Friendly staff! I wish they had coconut cream when I was there!
mmmmmm pie. the only thing that would make it better is lowering the price per slice from 3.50 to 3.14
Just the best pie I've ever tasted. Three pounds of apples in the double crust. You won't be sorry...though a little expensive. Treat your family.
Seems like they didn’t want my business. Very curt.
Whoa. This blueberry pie I just ate is the best thing I have ever tasted. Bravo!!!!
Best strawberry-rhubarb pie I've ever had! The crust was phenomenal, perfectly flaky with the perfect amount of sugar. Great service as well! I would definitely recommend ordering a pie from here, it's worth the money!
The best apple pie I've ever eaten
A neat neighborhood gem hidden (literally) in Roswell. Getting there is pretty hard, and is connected by a narrow gravel road and a few parking spots, but you can probably find parking nearby. The establishment is pretty cute and rustic, its run by a small team who are really nice and helpful. I decided to go with a slice of apple pie, which came to around $5. The pie was still warm when we got it, and you can even see them slicing apples and baking pies in the back. The pie was pretty good. I really love how the apple slices were still crispy, with a nice tartness (I think they use granny smith). The crust unfortunately was a bit soggy in my opinion, though some parts were also crispy and nice. Overall the pie is pretty light, and not as heavy as I thought it would be. I would give it a 5, but I will need to try some more to bump up one star. It's a good stop to get dessert after a meal in one of the restaurants nearby, give it a try!
Incredible derby pie.
I love eating pie
This award pie lives up to the standard! We stopped in while my mom was visiting from out of town. Now this is some good pie! The owner was very friendly, and it's a really nice building.
Simple bakery with fantastic pies.
I enjoy cherry pie about as much as any dessert. This is my fourth try and second visit and the cherry pie served up here is, in my estimation, the best I have ever tasted. I had two pieces yesterday ... one for lunch, one for dinner!
This is Pie Heaven!
Please be open on the weekend!
I be just eaten the signature 6" high apple pie. The crust is perfection. I like a little more tartness, but the apples were perfect, not overcooked, a nice bite. The flavor was not too spicy and good. The only thing not perfect was there was a little flour taste where the thickener wasn't quite cooked. I would still give this pie five stars. I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on the flakey crust. I've got a few more to try.Update. Of course I bought other pie slices on that visit. Peanut butter, good. Silk slice also good. The coconut custard was really good. Once again the crust is her strong suit in that it always adds that perfect bite. The coconut custard is a must try. Enjoy.
Great for people who like liquor in their pies. I don't drink
Clean and friendly and helpful staff
Thank you so much for feeding us today at Northside Hospital Forsyth!! The best Chicken pot pie ever!!
I absolutely love the lemon chess pie
Cannot comment on the pie, but the prices listed in the photos are half of what you will actually pay in store. I just paid $7 for a single slice, double what I was expecting to pay based on the menu posted online. It was nice to walk into a place where people were making pie by hand well I picked out my slice. I do believe in things done old fashioned are done right.but I also believe in keeping online marketing materials up to date so that way the customer is prepared on what to expect in store.
Worst pie I have ever eaten, how could anybody likes raw pie. An apple pie is supposed to be golden colored on top, the bottom and top were totally unacceptable, when I pay $43.00 (total rip off) for a pie I expect it to be cooked. What don’t you cut the apple slices they are giant chunks. This is America and you can’t make an apple pie right??? How you are still in business mystifies me. Horrible!
My kids and I used to come here often to grab a slice of pie when they were younger. We would always order apple with walnut and it tasted just like my grandmother`s pie from my childhood. A couple of days ago I went again and guess what. I remembered so many sweet moments and the pie got even better ! A favourite place indeed !
A religious experienceSavory or sweet, The Pie Hole has it. Their chicken pot pie will make you say "Marie Calendar who?". It's truly epic. The crust is perfect. This is the crust on the pies your grandmother made at Christmas. Yes, it's that good, sorry grandma. Now let's talk sweet. From perfect crust to exquisite filling, every pie is something sent from heaven. The apple pie measures almost 6 inches in the center. That's right, HALF A FOOT OF PIE!And the chess pies, chocolate and lemon. The word trancendent almost captures it, but not quite. If you're within 50 miles of Roswell Georgia and you don't make the trip to the Pie Hole on Canton Street then it's painfully obvious that you hate kittens, bunnies, and everything good in this world.
